U.C. WALKER

"A Dog Walking Service"

U.C. Walker

Un-Chained Academy LLC is proud to introduce U. C. Walker, a dog walking service. Based in the Twin Cities of Minnesota, U. C. Walker specializes in pack walking to promote canine education and to help with behavior modification. Participating in pack walks, dogs build trust, learn social skills, and experience therapeutic benefits. The art of pack walking introduces a unique and enriching experience for dogs of all breeds and sizes.

In my experience working and studying canine communication, I found that walking in groups can have a particularly positive impact on dogs. This helps foster relationships and creates a sense of solidarity. Dogs that tend to have reactive tendencies towards other dogs, may form a bond with the dogs they are walking with and decreasing their reactivities over time. By providing dogs with the opportunity to interact with other dogs in a controlled and supervised setting, we can help foster positive relationships and behavior, while also fulfilling their need for exercise and mental stimulation.

How does the walk functions?

The initial walk will begin at 8:30 AM and would last until 11 AM or 12 PM. The walk consists of a 6-mile hike with rest breaks in between. During this time, your dog will be walking in a pack along with other dogs. With our planned Route and activities, the walk will finish in 3-4 hours.

What are Drop-off hours/ Pick-up hours?

Monday - Friday, Drop-off hours are between 7 am - 8 am (Will not accept any dog who shows up after 8 AM). Returns or Pick-up are 12 pm - 1 pm. We can not offer pick-up or drop-off services after 1 pm. We will deliver your dog to your home at 12 pm or 1 pm. For delivery, we require access to your home or designated location for drop-off.

What other things would the dog do during the walk?

We offer mental stimulation activities, such as structured playtimes, visits to local dog parks, desensitization to the local environment, and basic foundational training.
